What are your conditions for COVID-19?

We are closely monitoring global developments and following the World Health Organization (WHO), Center for Disease Control (CDC), and U.S. Department of State for guidance.

2020 fall destinations are being closely monitored and all paid guests will be emailed two months prior if the trip needs to be postponed. Any payments made for a trip that is postponed will roll over to the new trip date in 2021. When a trip is postponed, we take into consideration work/life schedules and communicate with all guests to determine the new date(s).

How far in advance should I book?

All our tours are handpicked, unique, tailored and bespoke experiences. We rotate our destinations and we can not guarantee future tour dates. We highly recommend booking as soon as possible to secure your dream inspired travel.

Is there a minimum amount of female travelers?

All our tours are based on a minimum occupancy of 5 female travelers and a maximum occupancy of 8 female travelers. We keep our group sizes small to offer you the best service and give you the best personal attention from our experts on every destination.

Is it possible to join you as a part of the tour?

I am sorry, it´s not possible to join just sections of our tours.

Is there a possible to extend my stay?

Some of our tours have optional add-ons at the end of the tour.

How to make a reservation

Contact Hippie Chick Love by email to check for availability. Then fill in the online booking form and then fill on the website once availability is confirmed. On receipt of your booking form and a deposit (deposit amount available on enquiry. You are required to pay the deposit in the equivalent of your currency at the current exchange rate) to secure your booking, your reservation is confirmed. We will remind you 90 days prior to the trip that the balance for your trip needs to be paid that week, or your booking may be cancelled.

Payment of the deposit means you have read and accepted these terms and conditions. On full payment you will receive your pre-departure information.

Payments

After submitting your booking form, you will have 48 hours to pay your deposit. Your deposit secures your place on the trip. We will let you know which currency you need to pay in – British Pound, Euros, Dollars etc. (depending on the destination of your trip). Note: Please include your name as a reference when making the bank deposit so we can track your booking.

How can I pay?

We accept all major credit & debit cards (except Diners Club). The most efficient form of payment is by bank transfer which usually incurs no fees. If you would like to arrange your payment by bank transfer please contact your Travel Designer.

Do you make a charge for payments made by credit card?

There are no surcharges for paying by credit or debit card. Please call your Travel Designer to make your payment.

Is there any possibility to refund my deposit?

All our tours are carefully chosen small tours with a maximum of 8 female travelers per destination. We confirm all our tours in advance. We do require an upfront deposit to secure your place. Cancellation of your booking often does not allow time for the re-sale of your space on the trip. The deposit paid on booking your trip is non-refundable and non-transferable, and serves as a cancellation fee.

I need to cancel my booking. How do I do it?

If you wish to cancel your booking, you must give us written notice by an email properly addressed to cancellations@hippiechicklove.com  Any such notice of cancellation must be given by the Lead Name on the booking. You will be charged a cancellation fee per person which reflects the losses and costs which we incur in cancelling the booking as follows:

Any refund, be it part or whole, will be based on the payment originally received in British Pounds.
That amount is the gross amount on which any refund will be based.

If the client leaves the trip voluntarily after its commencement, there will be no refund.

How much is the deposit to pay?

For every tour we ask you to pay a non-refundable deposit of £ 1.000.

When do I have to pay the deposit?

Due within 48 hours of invitation.

Do you offer payment plans?

If you are unable to pay the full amount upfront, we offer a 3 payment plan consisting of a deposit and two equal payment prior the tour.

DEPOSIT: £ 1.000 due within 48 hours of invitation.

PAYMENT 1: 50 % of the rest 30 days after deposit. (Payment #1)

PAYMENT 2: 30 days after payment #1 you have to complete your payment. (Payment #2)

Do you include international airfare?

The cost of airfare in not included in the tour price. You are responsible for your own transportation to and from start and and destination of the tour.

Cancellation by Hippie Chick Love

Hippie Chick Love reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any trip departure. Reasons for cancelling a trip may be due to not filling the minimum number of participants, political instability, terrorism, natural disasters, or other such circumstances, which may make a trip non-viable. If cancellation is made prior to departure by Hippie Chick Love due to any of the above, Hippie Chick Love will refund the client in full or re-book them on another trip if the client so wishes.

Refunds

There are no refunds for any part of the tour not used, eg meals, activities or any other services.

Do you cater to Dietary Requirements?

It´s our pleasure to offer you : Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten – free, dairy free diets. Please let us know if you have any food allergies. We have a separate health & food information letter, what has to be completed when you book your tour with us. We always inform the chef at our hotels and restaurants in advance about your specific food diet. We ask you to give us all your detail about your diet to avoid any disappointment!

Special medical requirements

Hippie Chick Love carries a basic first aid kit, however clients are advised to bring their own personal medication and also a small first aid kit for personal use.

Accommodation

Hippie Chick Love trip prices are based on a Single Luxury Room or Single Luxury Villa. On some of our trips you will stay in a Luxury Private Pool Villa and on some you will enjoy the pleasure of a Luxury Room.

PLANNING YOUR TRAVEL

Can you support me to arrange my travel visa?

I am very sorry, we can´t organize your travel visa. All our female travelers are required to organize their own travel visas. You will find all infos like visa costs, and requirements on the Embassy websites in your home country. They will provide all necessary required forms. If you don´t have time to organize all the procedures we recommend to book a travel/visa agent who can arrange everything for you at a cost. All information like a tour confirmations and hotel confirmations will be provided from us to apply for your visa application.

What documents I will need for customs?

You will need to present them your flight ticket and your passport. Please make sure that your passport name matches your name on the flight ticket, or you may be denied boarding. In case you need a visa, you will need tat to show customs as well. Your expiration date in your passport must be at least 6 months after you return from your travel. If it´s not you should renew your passport.

Do I need a travel and medical insurance?

You are required to have a travel and medical insurance to travel on Hippie Chick Love tours. You are responsible for arranging all of your travel insurance. Your travel insurance MUST cover at least the following: cover against trip cancellation, plus cover for personal liability, injury, medical emergencies and medical evacuation, repatriation in case of death, and other as recommended by your travel agent. We will provide you with all necessary informations for your travel & medical insurance.

Fully comprehensive travel insurance is compulsory on our Hippie Chick Tours. Without it you may be refused on the trip. You must send us a copy of your insurance cover and to bring it with you.

Please note that credit card insurance is not acceptable.

Vaccinations

We will inform you as far in advance as possible re any vaccinations to be required for your tour.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in any Hippie Chick Love booked transport, hotel rooms, restaurants, or within the vicinity of the tour group.

Baggage

Hippie Chick Love does not accept responsibility for any lost or damaged bags – please be insured for this.

Do I have to lock my personal belongings during my travel?

Any medications in their original, labeled containers, eyeglasses, contact lens, important documents (insurance, medical records/allery information, travel documents and emergency contact information. Camera, batteries and valuables.

How much cash/spending money in the local currency do I need?

Baring in mind that most HCL tours are all-inclusive tours, spare cash is solely for personal expenditures such as occasional lunches, dinners on free time, snacks and expenses for your personal enjoyment.

What is the best way to carry money?

We recommend having access to money from a variety of sources – cash, debit card, credit card is advisable. On all our destinations you will find ATM´s to pick up some cash in the local currency. Please advise your bank about using your cards overseas. You should verify with your bank that your ATM card and PIN will work overseas.

Do I need to tip my guide or driver?

Your tour does not include a tip for drivers and guides. If you feel that a guide or driver has provided you with “above and beyond” strive or assistance, you are more than welcome to offer them a tip.

How do I get to the start of a tour?

We will organize an airport transfer to get you to your hotels the tour starts from.

What time can I check in at my arrival accommodation?

Check-in times vary from accommodation to accommodation. We will be sure to liaise with you regarding the check-in time and accommodate your arrivals to the best of our abilites.

Will I be able to use a laundry?

Of course, all our hotels are luxury hotels and provide a laundry service.

Will I be able to charge my electronics?

Yes, we advise you to carry an appropriate travel adapter (word travel adapter) and a power bank. For each destination, we will provide information on which electrical plugs and voltage you can expect.

How safe are me belongings during my travel?

We strongly advise you to store all your personal belongings in the hotel safe. Every female traveler is essentially responsible for their own belongings. Therefore travel insurance in s must! We do also recommend getting luggage bag with a lock.

Which airport do I fly into?

Please view the trip overview for more information about airports. You can find this information on the page of the trip that you´re interested in attending.

Will I have time to do my own exploring?

Yes of course! All of our trips will allow you to have time to explore. All our programs during our tour are optional, if you don´t feel to join one of our program you can spend the time of course how you like. Nobody is forced to join any of the programs. All our programs are handpicked and well chosen and you will decide what you will join.

Can I come solo?

Yes of course! The majority of our guests come solo and meet brand new people. Everyone will also be added to a private group chat before the start of each trip. 

Can I come with my friend?

Yes, of course! If you wish to book this trip with your friend you are more than welcome.

Can I book the tour with my friends as a friend group?

Yes, of course! If you wish to book one of our tours in your own private group please send us a request re your dream destination, date and amount of female travelers you would love to come on a trip with us. If you book early enough one of our offered tours as a private group and we have the capacity and nobody booked till then you are welcomed as well.

Where exactly will we be staying?

For privacy and security reasons, specific locations, such as addresses, will not be shared unless a deposit has been made.

What is included?

All meals, activities, accommodation, transport and guides as stated in the itinerary.

What is not included?

Visa fees, international flight costs, meals or activities not stated in the itinerary, airport taxes, personal items, snacks, drinks (except with meals), vaccinations, tips or gratuities, laundry, telephone, minibar, personal travel insurance, alcoholic beverages.

Is my money protected?

All the holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. When you pay, you will be supplied with an ATOL Certificate; which exists to protect the public from losing money or being stranded abroad because of the failure of air travel firms. In the highly unlikely event of our insolvency, the Civil Aviation Authority will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking. You will be issued an ATOL certificate the time of booking; please check to ensure that everything you booked (flights, hotels and other services) is listed on it. For more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to www.atol.org.uk/ATOLCertificate.

Complaints

We hope not to have any of these, but should you feel that something did not meet your expectations, please write to us in case we can rectify the situation.

Is it safe to travel?

We are governed by the United Kingdom Foreign and Commonwealth Office travel advice. If you have concerns about any destination, please ask your Travel Designer.

Responsibility

Travelling with Hippie Chick Love requires a certain amount of flexibility, and the itinerary is subject to change if circumstances dictate it to. Clients are expected to accept the authority of the guide/leader/local operator at all times.

Hippie Chick Love reserves the right to decline, accept or reject any member of the group at any time. Hippie Chick Love also works in conjunction with ground operators where local knowledge is a valuable part of your experience. To the best of Hippie Chick Love knowledge these third parties are capable of fulfilling the duties they have been contracted to perform. However Hippie Chick Love does not take any responsibility for any injury, loss, damage delay due to the behaviour of these third parties. 

Hippie Chick Love offers soft inspiring trips. As with any physical activities, there is a certain amount of risk involved. All Hippie Chick Love clients acknowledge that they have read the itinerary and understand that they must be of adequate physical fitness to partake in such a trip, and have no undisclosed medical conditions, which may prevent them from partaking in the activities or disrupt the group. Hippie Chick Love clients also accept that in partaking in such activities they are doing so at their own risk.

I, the client, grant permission for the use of my name, photographs, videotapes and recordings in connection with the tour. 

No employee, servant or agent of Hippie Chick Love has the authority to vary these conditions.
I understand that this is a release of liability and a contract between myself and Hippie Chick Love and/or its contracted tour operators or affiliated organizations, and I sign this agreement of my own free will. If any part of this agreement is deemed unenforceable, all other parts shall remain in full force and effect.
By reserving a trip with Hippie Chick Love I, the client, agree to be bound by these terms.
These Terms and Conditions and any contract to which they apply are governed in all respects by Guernsey Law and they shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Guernsey.
